The NZ Songwriters Trust and APRA AMCOS are proud to present a day-long Songwriter’s Retreat at the Hokonui RÅ«nanga. The retreat will be curated by an experienced songwriter who will support selected applicants to co-write in small groups in a fun and low-pressure environment.
To ensure a tailored experience, attendees will be grouped based on experience level, with separate sessions for beginners and more experienced writers. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will have a chance to connect and network with each other while learning more about APRA AMCOS.
This retreat will also feature a free Going Local panel open to the public - a one-hour panel and Q&A session featuring industry members and artists, presented by Independent Music New Zealand. The retreat is free to attend, and applications close on 4 May 2026.
